For those that are leery of shopping onsite, Short Pump Town Center has put in a number of safety measures to ensure all of its patrons feel 100% comfortable while they are shopping. For starters, Short Pump Town Center is a fully outdoor center making social distancing extremely easy. Additionally, masks are required while shopping and they have many touchless hand sanitizing stations.
Crate&Barrel:
One of my favorite traditions growing up was going to church on Christmas Eve. However, as I got older, I would work on Christmas Eve so I could have New Years Eve off. (Priorities!) So my Mom gave the option of skipping church but, if we did, we had to watch It’s a Wonderful Life as a family. Now bring us to 2020 and church on Christmas Eve won’t even be a possibility unless it’s virtual which just isn’t the same. So, I think we are going to do a Christmas Eve movie night this year and have the kids open their “gift” of a family set of popcorn bowls and PJs. I’ve been pining after these bowls for years and I think this is just the excuse I needed!
I also snagged these super cute snowman marshmallows for hot chocolate! Our Elf is bringing the kids hot chocolate one day in December and I thought these were a super cute addition to make it extra special.
Pottery Barn:
I received this blanket last year as a gift and it is the BEST gift I’ve gotten in a long time! If you have someone on your list that’s hard to shop for, a high-quality throw blanket is an amazing idea! It’s something people are less likely to purchase for themselves but will love for years to come. My kids know this as “Mama’s blanket”. 😊
Williams Sonoma:
I shared these aprons in my Kids Gift Guide as well. My kids love to help i the kitchen and I think these personalized kids aprons would be so adorable!
This is another gift I received last year and shared on my Under $50 Gift Guide and love! We have this sitting on our island and I love it as a focus piece in our kitchen!
Marble and Brass Monogram Board
I put these in Tyler’s stocking every year. It’s the best peppermint bark I have ever had and is something we look forward to as a special Christmas treat!
Loft:
2020 may as well be dubbed the year of loungewear! These “butter pants” aka buttery soft joggers are the most comfortable pants you will ever put on your body! Trust me. I recommend sizing down one. Pair it with the matching sweatshirt for the ultimate cozy outfit!

I know everyone feels gift cards are kind of a cop-out gift but let’s be real, we all love getting a gift card! Tyler and I love getting a gift card to a restaurant that gives us an excuse to get out for a date night. Some of our favorite restaurants at Short Pump Town Center are:
- Firebirds
- Maggianos
- Rock Bottom Brewery (Some of the best nachos in town!)
- The Boathouse
- Cava (not inside the mall but in the outer ring closer to Broad St.)
Gift Cards
A few weeks ago I asked my followers that are teachers to share what their favorite gifts to receive are. The overwhelming response was gift cards! While I know sometimes a gift card seems like you’re taking the easy route, teachers deserve all we can give them every year but especially in 2020! Consider picking up a gift card for your child(ren)s teacher at one of their favorite Short Pump retailers!
