So, I am one of those people who never wins anything. Like, I never win scratchers, giveaways, raffles, etc. I enter the crap out of them (I’m looking at you HGTV Dream Home!). However, I’ve been entering Nuby’s giveaways on Facebook each week and I was actually chosen to receive their Fruitsicles Ice Pop Mold!
To say I was excited to finally have won something is a giant understatement and I was so excited to try these babies out. I have to tell you though, these popsicles are literally the easiest recipe in existence. You literally throw everything into your food processor and blend. The hardest part is having to wait for them to freeze before you can eat them!
The molds are made for tiny hands and have been a Godsend while Liam has been cutting a few teeth recently. I would suggest stripping down your little ones and confining them to a high chair because it can get a little messy in your living room. Not that I would know that from experience or anything…
Liam was kind enough to share his popsicle with Tyler and it basically made my heart melt. Seeing the love these two have for each other makes me turn into a giant puddle of mush daily.
Watermelon & lime is a bit of a more adult flavor combination but Liam seemed to love it and didn’t mind the added tartness from the lime juice. However, if your little ones wouldn’t care for it, you could omit it and they would still be great. Or even throw in some whole fruit chunks or some mint! The beauty of these is that you throw everything into the food processor and you really can do any flavor combination you like.
I’ve also started thinking of some adult spiked popsicle recipe ideas…stay tuned for those! And yes, I will get a separate set of molds so we don’t accidentally give one to Liam. 🙂
Ingredients

- Add watermelon and juice of 1/2 of a lime to a food processor and puree.
- Portion into popsicle molds and freeze.
These quantities for this are scaled down since the molds are for children so you would just need to add a little more of both watermelon and lime juice if you were to use these in full-size molds.
