Mid-summer LOFT try-on

Summer is almost over but it’s still hot as all get out in Virginia so today I’m bringing you some great transitional pieces and a few other warm-weather options that are sure to be show stoppers!

This dress is so stinking cute! Sadly, if you are curvy on your bottom half, this dress isn’t for you. I would have walked out with it (and I own all of like 3 purple clothing items – just isn’t my color!) but this dress was so snug on my hips/booty but fit perfectly on top. I definitely carry my weight on my bottom half but still. This is the only LOFT item I’ve tried on that has fit that way so that was disappointing. Definitely size up.

I absolutely love this outfit! These jeans are super comfy and stretchy and very flattering. The top is absolutely precious and came home with me! It sold out but was restocked and is 50% off so be sure to grab it while you still can!

Can we talk about this top for a sec? So stinking cute, a great transition top as the temperatures start to drop and really comfortable. I love the bell sleeve detail and the embroidered detailing. This is more of a linen material so if you live somewhere like Virginia that is still really hot well into October this would be great for you!

I absolutely loved this dress! It’s a sweatshirt material so it’s soft like a brand new sweatshirt on the inside which is ah-mazing. And it has pockets so what more could you need?! A perfect dress for running errands or a more casual night out. I personally am a little more pear-shaped and felt like it could have used to be brought in at the waist a bit to give it more definition for me.

This is another great dress that could easily from a day to night look. The empire waist is also flattering on all body types.

I know I know. I love a great embroidered white top! This one is pretty sheer so it would be best paired with a camisole underneath. Hits a little lower on the hips so if you’re longer waisted this would be perfect.

This top is another great piece. The top is a stretchy cotton and is very forgiving.

After having kids I pretty much turned in my card for wearing super form-fitting shirts (ya know, mum tum and all) but I have to say, I love the cut of this tank. And these shorts? Well, they speak for themselves.

I absolutely love this dress! It is a perfect dress for work but could also double for a night out. The ruffle detailing around the arms and neck dresses it up from a simple, black cotton dress and it is extremely comfortable and a thick, quality material. Toss your stiff suiting dresses goodbye. I guarantee this won’t disappoint!
