- Our little town of RVA made it on the list for The South’s Best Food Cities in 2019! Sadly, there are a few places mentioned that I haven’t tried yet that I need to get too STAT!
- Can you believe this whole college admissions scandal? Aunt Becky was cut from Hallmark too! She was one of my fave’s too! Luckily it doesn’t appear that DJ Tanner was a part of this scandal so we’re still good there Hallmark lovers!
- If you’re an OBX goer, they are putting in a bridge that allows you to cut directly over to Corolla. Say bye bye to the insane traffic! Although, we’re more Kitty Hawk type people.
- Have you seen that Starbucks is now upping the stars from 125 to 150 to get a free drink or food reward? Like seriously? They’re also going to allow you to use lower amounts on other items but come on people. Leave my free drink stars alone! #firstworldproblems
- Kind of obsessed with this hack for squeezing a lemon without cutting it.
- We started using ButcherBox last week and the meat is SO much better than what you can get at the store. They’re also running a promo for two free pounds of ground beef for life with every order! Did you know there can be up to 30 different cows in one pound of ground beef? GROSS.
- Spring has officially made it’s way to Virginia (ignoring the fact that we will have a few below freezing temps for the low this week) and it will be 76 on Saturday! Hallelujah! So not sad to see Winter go.
- We sleep trained Ellie this past weekend and after almost 7 months, she is finally sleeping through the night! She took to it waaaay better than Liam did (read about that here) and once I know she’s really gotten the hang of it I’ll do a full post about how we did it. Let’s just say, if all babies were like Ellie I’d have 1,000.
