Welcome back to Let’s Talk Tuesday! I took last Tuesday off because, well, I had a baby! Ellie’s birth story will be coming hopefully later this week on the blog so keep an eye out for that!. But I’m getting back in the swing of things so let’s get to it, shall we?!
- Apparently we’re gearing up for a big hurricane and literally everywhere is sold out of water. I even checked Amazon Prime now and nada. Hopefully it’s not as bad as they’re making it seem!
- The biggest benefit of the hurricane (if there really is one?) is that it will hopefully bring us some cooler temperatures that are here to stay! I’m ready for cool, crisp mornings.
- If you are a fellow Lilly Pulitzer lover like myself, the After Party Sale is going on through tomorrow! Make sure you don’t miss out on one of only 2 sales throughout the entire year! Some items are marked down over half off so it’s definitely something you don’t want to miss. I wanted to snag a few outfits for Ellie but am hesitant since she’s still so small and obviously won’t be wearing any of them anytime soon given we’re heading into Fall and Winter. Maybe at the next APS sale I can grab a few things for her!
- Also, speaking of Lilly, I recently found this group on Facebook called A Touch of Sass Boutique and they have a ton of Lilly inspired items. Totally dangerous for me especially with a baby girl with a Lilly themed nursery.
- I saw a recommendation for Madewell jeans and love that they give you the option of seeing the jeans on different body types on their website instead of just a stick thin model in a size 24. Let’s be real, very few people are that thin!
- We don’t do much tailgating but we do cook up some apps and stuff on Saturdays or Sundays if we’re watching a game and I think I need to try literally all of these! How Sweet Eats is literally my favorite food blogger ever.
- I’m dying to go apple picking but I know it’s A) a little early still and B) might be a little cumbersome with a toddler and a newborn but it’s literally my favorite Fall tradition and we’ve gotta rip that band aid off at some point, right?
- I think Tyler and I might be the only people on Earth who haven’t seen The Greatest Showman. Is it really that good? Even for someone who doesn’t love musicals?
