- Did you know The Hills is coming back?! This makes my inner 18-19 year old self very happy! I didn’t see them mention Brody Jenner or Whitney Port at all in the cast but hopefully they’ll make a few appearances.
- So apparently SafeWise has named Virginia Beach, VA the safest city in the nation? Being that Virginia Beach is only 2 hours give or take from us, I never would have guessed! Not that I thought it was crime laden either but out of the whole country? At least Virginia is improving on its safety. 🙂
- Big Bang Theory is ending?! This makes me so sad! Although I know all good things must come to an end we just love it so much! It’s literally my favorite show to watch on reruns and never get sick of it. If they tell me Grey’s Anatomy is done next that may just do me in.
- My mother-in-law made this classic Humming Bird Cake and brought us a few slices. Oh. My. Gosh. It was seriously amazing. Let’s just say the slices she brought us were fought over and didn’t last more than 3 hours in our house. So friggin’ good!
- I went to Hobby Lobby on Friday and had to use serious restraint to not purchase any fall decorations yet. Why do they always make me want to give them my entire paycheck?
- Has anyone seen that Crayola came out with their own line of makeup and makeup brushes? I can’t say that any of their standard crayon or marker colors typically fall in my desired color palette for makeup but it definitely is intriguing! Plus, it’s all available at ASOS so it’s pretty affordable!
- If you hadn’t already heard, Old Navy is having a major 40% off sale (no exclusions!) with an extra 10% off for card holders! Extra bonus? They have shirts and blouses on sale for 60% off for the whole family so it’s the perfect opportunity to snag things you or your kiddos need for the fall/winter. We love their stuff for play and/or daycare clothes for Liam and they hold up pretty well considering he’s super destructive and rough on clothes. I even got seven non-maternity (hallelujah!) items for $100 with tax. Can’t beat that!
- I think I could eat this combo every day until the end of time and never get sick of it. Added bonus, Tyler just got us a dozen bagels over the weekend. Guess you know what I’ll be eating until we run out of bagels!
I don’t think I’ve ever had Hummingbird Cake in my life and I am a Southerner! But it lost me at the bananas…… whomp whomp.
However, the Avocado Tomato Sandwiches/Bagels look so good. I think I will try it this week!
You don’t even taste the bananas! It just makes the cake super moist. You definitely need to try it!
