Let’s Talk Tuesday #53

1. There are some really good cooking hacks learned from grandparents in here! #20 is a personal favorite but I know all of my grandparents would agree with #7.
2. Have you seen the new Lays “Tastes of America” Flavors? They released 8 new flavors including Pimento Cheese and Fried Pickles with Ranch! If you know me, you know I have a serious love for potato chips so I am going to be trying to find these so soon! Not sure how I feel about the Deep Dish Pizza flavor though…
3. We all know I’m Diet Coke obsessed but have you ever wondered why a Diet Coke (or even regular Coke if you’re into that kinda thing) taste so much better at McDonald’s? Turns out it’s because they have a much different process to preparing their drinks than most other fast food places. No wonder it’s so darn delicious!
4. Speaking of Diet Coke, did anyone see that there was a study at Yale that proved that diet soda can reduce your chances of colon cancer? Considering I have Ulcerative Colitis and am obsessed with Diet Coke this feels win-win to me!
5. Mark this down on a list of places you will never catch me staying. I think it’s going to need a visit from the Ghost Adventures team…just sayin’.
6. If you thought all Pigeon Forge Tennessee had to offer was Dollywood, you’re wrong! Apparently they also have an Inn that is decked out for Christmas 365 days a year. So, if you need a Christmas in July fix, make a quick trip to Tennessee to get your fill.
7. My food intake has not been the greatest recently. I’m looking at you WaWa Coffee Roll! I need to make this for lunches so I can get back on track with something healthy and low carb!
8. I feel like I totally need one of these! And yes, I know it’s completely unnecessary but I’m all about making my life easier these days!
