- I have to agree with 5, 7 and 18 but have to say, #19 disappointed me. I went in the store last Friday to buy a few things and was going to grab an acai bowl on my way out. Thankfully someone in front of me in line got one before me though because there was all of an inch and a half of smoothie and then the rest was just fruit and granola. Kind of a giant disappointment.
- Prime Day starts next Monday at 3:00pm. Have you ever found any really good deals on Prime Day? We still have a few things we need for the baby so I’d love to find some good deals on those items but I know that may be a long shot.
- Cinnamon buns. I used to hate them. Well, hate is a strong word but I really didn’t care for them and now I’ve been craving them. What is this baby doing to me?! I’ll still always be a bagel and cream cheese kinda gal over a donut any day but I’m tempted to try to make homemade cinnamon rolls.
- As I mentioned in my last pregnancy update, I haven’t wanted meat at all in the past few weeks. Well, with the exception of deli meat and pepperoni on pizza but otherwise, it just really doesn’t even sound good. So, I need alllllll the meatless meal recommendations! See also: My husband is not so fond of this recent development and wants meat with his meals again.
- The last couple watermelon’s I have picked out have been serious duds which is super depressing since I’m currently obsessed with watermelon. Thankfully, I ordered one through ClickList and while I was super skeptical at first because it was super dark green and round like a bowling ball, it has been the best we’ve had so far this year. Clearly I need that person to pick my watermelons from here on out. It will also be gone by tomorrow at that rate I’m going.
- PARENTS: Build-A-Bear workshop is having a “Pay Your Age Day” on Thursday 7/12 where your kid can pick out any furry friend and you only have to pay their age! I’m definitely going to take Liam because how fun would that be?!
- If you’re ever in the market for a good gradual tanning lotion that isn’t super expensive, look no further than your local Walmart! I bought this Ever Glow lotion about 8-9 years ago at the beach not realizing it was sunless tanning lotion but I have used it ever summer ever since. Best of all? It’s less than $6 and gives a nice overall tan without making you orange. Don’t get me wrong, I love St. Tropez lotion with the best of them but this works great and has a much more budget friendly price tag.
- Have you heard Starbucks is going strawless by 2020? I’m totally in support of cutting back on them and I love my Koffie straws which are perfect for this but my question is: where do you put your reusable straw once you’re done if you’re out?
Patricia says
Yes, the whole reusable straw thing is baffling. We will have to all carry them or go without, I guess!
I’d send you some meatless recipes if my darn MS Office was working on my laptop. Gotta. fix. that!
