- Is having July 4th in the middle of the week not the worst thing ever? Like if it’s on a Wednesday shouldn’t we just automatically have the rest of the week off? Ugh.
- Having the Lilly Pulitzer x Pottery Barn Kids collaboration come out while I was pregnant with a baby girl was probably the best and worst thing that could have happened. It’s the worst because it’s making me broke because I want ALL THE THINGS. But it’s the best because I’m creating a beautifully bright nursery for this sweet baby girl. I’m sure Pottery Barn doesn’t hate taking all my money either…
- Let’s talk TV for a second. It’s Summer and while it’s typically a slow TV time, we just started watching Yellowstone with Kevin Costner and it is absolutely amazing! Watching it makes me want to move to Montana…almost. I would highly recommend it.
- If you didn’t see my post from a few weeks ago on Instagram, I’ve been using Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Serum and Eye Cream. They are definitely splurge items that I wouldn’t typically purchase but oh my goodness have they done wonders for my skin! Sometimes you really need to invest to get a quality product.
- Did you know there was such thing as oat and banana milk? I’m all for a dairy substitute but these were two that were completely new to me.
- What are y’alls thoughts on Big Brother/Sister gifts at the hospital? I’ve heard of this trend to let the older sibling not feel left out in the excitement of the new baby but am not sure if we’re going to do it or not. I think putting together a little bag of goodies for him is a good idea but it’s just one more thing to add to my ever-growing to do list before this baby gets here!
- Liam has entered a serious picky eater phase and sometimes just flat-out won’t eat. Give me all of your picky eater tips! I need the kid to eat…bonus points if it gets him to eat a vegetable!
- I have officially reached the hot part of my pregnancy. Last Tuesday temperatures got up to 105 and I literally felt like I was melting. But today, it wasn’t even 85 and I was burning up in my office all day and almost went out at lunch to buy a fan. Ooooohhhh the joys of a Summer pregnancy!

Okay, okay, I’m going to break down and purchase the Peter Thomas Roth Serum and see how it goes. It is completely unlike me to purchase anything this expensive. Even the Murad products at Massage Envy are cheaper but you say it is great so I’ll try it!
I know Liam is young but I don’t think one child should receive gifts for a sibling’s birthday. Just seems too Instagrammy/Pinteresty/Millennial and I can’t get on board with that. However, that is my opinion!
I am excited to hear about Yellowstone. We are certainly in a series slump in our house so I’ll check this one out tonight!
