Let’s Talk Tuesday #46

1. Heading to the beach soon and need a new beach read? Here is a list of great beach reads for your trip! I personally am a big fan of Elin Hilderbrand’s and Emily Giffin’s books and am looking forward to checking out a few more of these this summer. What is it about summer that makes you want to read more?
2. We’re big Costco fans (why did I ever belong to BJ’s?) and buy all of our paper towels, toilet paper and other household items that are shelf stable there. But I can also attest to their dog beds, EVOO, and best of all, BABY FORMULA! It’s the cheapest you’ll find anywhere for a big tub and it’s the same ingredients as Similac Advanced. You’re welcome. 3. We have already had a few super hot days where the humidity has bordered on oppressive. What is worse on hot days like that than turning on a 350 degree oven? Enter these no-cook meals! I’m personally a fan of the Italian subs or avocado caprese wrap.
4. I’m totally making these for our next get together! Or maybe just on a random Wednesday. My sweet tooth has been off the chain recently and these look amazing and semi-healthy.
5. Also related to my sweet tooth, how amazing and easy to these Oreo cheesecake cupcakes look? Maybe not for a random weekday but definitely for a weekend, right? 😉
6. Let’s Talk TV for a minute…has anyone seen the list of shows that got cancelled? Designated Survivor, Lucifer (still hoping this gets picked up by another network!), and Quantico are some of our favorites that all got cancelled. Super upsetting.
7. After seeing a shot of Aaryn William’s bar with a wine fridge and kegerator, we are installing one of our own! We already purchased the wine fridge, kegerator, butcher block counter top and a cabinet to store bar glasses, wine opener, and other miscellaneous items. The finishing touch is for Tyler and his former coworker who used to be a carpenter to frame in the bar and secure the counter top and we’ll be in business! To say Tyler is excited about having beer on tap in the house is a major understatement!
8. Last Thursday we were lucky enough (thanks Mom!) to go to the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert and it was absolutely amazing! I have loved both of them since I was a kid so seeing both of them at one time was a major bucket list item for me. Seriously, if you have the opportunity to see them in, GO! You won’t be disappointed.
