- It’s now been scientifically proven that going to the beach makes you happier and reduces stress. So go ahead, book that beach vacation if you haven’t already! Your body will thank you.
- This makes me want to reorganize our entire pantry. I’ve made small improvements here and there but it still looks a little crazy. Someone come organize my life!
- I’ve tried a few different self tanners and this one from Ulta really takes the cake! I apply it with a tanning mit like this one and rub it in circular motions so it’s all rubbed in thoroughly. It isn’t orange at all but make sure to be careful around your hands at feet…I did a quick swipe down my feet and was left looking a little…splotchy. That was human error though. The best part? It’s only $12.99 and is eligible for a coupon from Ulta. Score!
- Now that we’re starting to plan Liam’s big boy room, I’m starting to look at twin beds and whyyyy is it that I always want the most expensive of everything? We’re going with a twin bed (most likely a day bed) as his new room is fairly small and we want to maximize floor space but still want him to have a trundle for a sleepover down the road so the bed can grown with him. Any ideas on where to get good quality but less expensive beds? I know many will say IKEA but Tyler would rather cut off his right arm than put together another piece of IKEA furniture. 🙂
- Apparently Kate Bosworth has been in Richmond recently? Not sure how I always seem to find out late that celebrities are here but she’s presenting a movie tonight for the Richmond International Film Festival. I may need to take a trip to Carytown to see if I can catch a sighting!
- Cinco de Mayo is only a few weeks away and I need to make these! Actually, I probably can’t wait that long. So. Good.
- I wish these weren’t so true. Especially #5. Why is my face the best pillow?
- A quick TV update: Grey’s Anatomy is still one of my favorite shows on TV, Homeland has gotten better, super depressed that Abby is leaving NCIS and Southern Charm is my favorite trashy show at the moment.

- How does Kate Middleton still look like a super model the same day she delivered a baby? I legit looked like I had been hit by a bus. I need her genes.
