- If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my pole on Instagram stories about whether or not Birkenstocks were still cool or not. Tyler seems to think they are “so last year” but y’all gave me a resounding “Nah, you’re good” so guess who is the proud new owner of a pair of a pair of Gizeh Birko-Flor sandals. These weren’t the original sandals I went in looking for but someone else had tried them on and left the box out and I tried them on and was sold.
- I also got the Ruched Body-Con Dress (which is currently 40%o off!) everyone has been raving about all over the internet thinking the rouching would work for maternity. While it fit now, there is no way it will fit later this summer and would be way too short for comfort. I was majorly bummed but I ultimately returned it. Wah.
- We got our Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn Kids items in the mail and I’m in love! I can’t wait to start decorating the nursery for this little peanut! But of course, we have to move Liam into his big boy room in order to do that. Guess we need to get to getting!
- Speaking of which, any tips for transitioning from a crib to a toddler bed? I wanted to take the outside rail off of Liam’s crib but it appears you can’t do that and I would have to buy the converter set for the toddler bed to do that. I don’t want to spend $200 on something we’re only going to use for a few months so has anyone else gone cold turkey?
- Also, pretty sure every millennial woman needs this doormat. Don’t act like you’re not there at least once a week.
- I’m not 100% sure if I have mentioned this or not but why in the world are fiddle leaf figs so expensive? I get that they’re trendy but seriously, $100 for a plant? Seems excessive to me. But I still want one because I’m basic.
- Count me out for this death trap. I love a good swing ride at the State Fair but there is no way I’m getting on that thing and I’m not even afraid of heights.
- My Mom was gracious enough to gift me with a robot vacuum and I don’t know how we survived without one. Seriously with a toddler and a dog that sheds constantly and Tyler and I both working full-time, this is a lifesaver. I have it set to run every day at 9:00am and we just empty it at the end of the day and we have clean floors! We did have an issue with it getting caught on the tassles (not sure what else to call them?) of an oriental rug so I’ve tucked them under on that edge to prevent that from happening again. Everyone needs one!

#4 – move toddler to regular bed, put crib mattress under regular bed and pull it out every night. If the toddler falls, they fall on the mattress. They learn not go to go the edge. Simple and no extra $$!
#5 – that’s hilarious!
#7 – that is a vomit ride, for sure!
#8 – I may need to get a robot vacuum, too!
