- Because this edition of Let’s Talk Tuesday is an odd number, have I ever mentioned my disgust for odd numbers? And to be clear, numbers in increments of 5 are fine. But 37? Lucky number 7? Lucky 13? Absolutely not.
- And while we’re talking about my weird quirks, does any one else have to eat their candy in order of what tastes worst (in your opinion) first and finish with the worst flavors? Or is that just me…? And don’t even talk to me about throwing a handful of Skittles or something into my mouth all at once. I will NOT eat a purple with a red. Please tell me I’m not alone in this. My husband thinks I’m nuts.
- So, our not so little town only ranked 93 out of 186 for America’s Cities with the best well-being. Yet two smaller towns just an hour or two from us were in the top 10. Maybe we need to look into moving.
- Liam has been taking swimming lessons at Goldfish Swim School for the last month and I can’t stress how much better it makes me feel about him being around water in the coming Summer months and overall water safety. While he has learned to kick and pull his arms, they also focus more on floating and pulling themselves out of the pool. Highly, highly recommend looking into this if you’re like me and freaked out by it.
- As I mentioned in my 1st Trimester Pregnancy Update, my doctor suggested that I watch/reduce my carbs for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters to help prevent having a massive child again. Can we talk about how unfair this is though? For whatever reason I seem to crave sandwiches during pregnancy (I ate a ham and swiss sandwich almost every day for lunch with Liam) and not being able to have them or having to limit them is the worst. Why do I have to make such big babies? Give me allllllll the carbs!
- We’re (maybe?) gearing up for another Nor Easter tonight/tomorrow and I am SO. OVER. SNOW! It’s the first day of spring how can this happen? Also, they’re calling for 1-2 inches, 3-5 inches and I’ve even heard 5-7 inches so who the heck knows but I want Spring weather!
- The Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn collaboration launched Friday and I snatched up a fewthings for our sweet baby girl! Of course, they’re back ordered until late April or Early May but I suppose that’s OK since she won’t be here until September.
- With Toys R Us closing, I really want to know where the deals are because baby stuff isn’t cheap. Why won’t they just put it blatantly on their website when they’re starting to liquidate things? I guarantee they’ll get rid of some inventory lickety split.
