- Ummm you can buy a Fixer Upper house?! It sounds great…but even that tiny “Shotgun” house is going for $950,000! You’ve gotta be kidding me!
- So I ran out of eyelash adhesive recently and finally got the DUO dark tone adhesive. GAME CHANGER! If you use strip lashes and were like me and bought a pack initially that came with the white/clear adhesive, you need to switch ASAP. Goes on so much better and makes it easier to apply my lashes somehow.
- These Stranger Things Valentines Day cookies are amazing. If I had the patience, and if Tyler had actually watched more than 1/2 an episode, I would make them for him. If you have more patience than I do though and have a special someone who loves Stranger Things, I bet you’ll get extra brownie points for making these!
- We watched some of The Grammy’s the other night and I have to say, I felt like it was just kind of “meh”. And according to every other broadcast thought it was the greatest thing ever so clearly I’m in the minority. Am I completely alone on this?
- As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a huge fan of NFL football but I do like watching the Super Bowl. Truthfully, I really only watch it for the commercials. But now, they’re releasing them all in advance so what’s the point? I don’t get it.
- Speaking of the Super Bowl though, what are you serving or taking to a party? We’re just going to be hanging out at home so I think we’ll just make some small finger foods for ourselves and maybe some Hot Virginia Dip. Leave me your easy finger food/dip recipes that are good for just 2.5 people.
- Ok, one more thing about football and I swear I’m done. How am I just now hearing that Chris Long from the Eagles is donating his entire 2017 salary to charity? 6 of which are going to benefit scholarships to a private school in Charlottesville, VA which is less than an hour away from us. People like this help restore my faith in humanity. We need more people like him. And it gives me another reason to root against the Patriots.

- Starbucks has an everything croissant?! Where has this been all my life? Oh and apparently it’s National Croissant Day so, you know, go eat a croissant.
- The Flu. Like why is it so extra scary this year? There was a local boy who was 7 years old and died a day after being diagnosed with the flu and strep. If you remember, Liam tested positive for the Flu and Strep as well so, clearly, I’m over here thanking our lucky stars that he was only sick for a few days. My heart goes out to that family as I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through. Oh, and if you have the Flu, keep your germs at home. Please and thank you.
Maybe I need to watch you put your lashes on because I certainly am all thumbs. Your lashes look so great all the time! As for the Grammys, maybe it’s too political now. I despise all award shows (I think they should simply read the list of winners and be done with it) and I know I am in the minority. I can’t imagine sitting there for 3-4 hours watching these celebs preen and prance around. Of course, my husband doesn’t understand why I spend 3-4 hours reading a book so…….. there ya go!
Oh my goodness! Those Stranger Things cookies are awesome! We are huge fans over here. Too bad I don’t have the time to dedicate to making them. Maybe I will when all of the seasons are out and we have a marathon with friends.

Love this! What a cute idea for a post! On another note, I went to Starbucks yesterday on National Croissant Day and so badly wanted to try the Chocolate Croissant, BUT I have a very form fitting gown I have to wear in less than 2 weeks so I opted out #selfcontrolforthewin. Love your blog!!
