- It’s been in the 60’s the past few days and it has been absolutely amazing! After having negative temperatures the past few weeks, I am so happy to see it warm up…even if it is only temporary. I even wore my Jack Rogers today and yesterday!
- Let me preface this by saying I really don’t care about NFL football buuuut does anyone else feel like the Patriots game was rigged? #deflategate2018 I mean come on, I’m not saying good teams don’t deserve to go to the Super Bowl but seriously! Can’t someone else get a chance to go? And, after working in a sports bar for 7 years, I quickly learned that I really didn’t care for certain fans/teams and the Eagles are one of them. I almost think I’ll be rooting for them though just so Tom Brady doesn’t get yet another Super Bowl win. Anyone else with me?
- Amazon is now offering an Oreo Cookie Monthly subscription box?! In each delivery they send you two Oreo flavors and a one of a kind gift in each box. Pretty sure every Oreo lover out there needs this in their life.
- Friday night Tyler and I got a chance to go out for our first date night since our cruise. That’s well over a month if you don’t include New Years since we went out with a group but we were way overdue of some 1-on-1 time. We tried out the new Tazza Kitchen location in Scott’s Addition and it was seriously so good! We’ve been to their Short Pump location a number of times but this environment was on point. And their Kale with chiles (get it topped with brisket!) is absolutely amazing. So. dang. good. If you’re local, definitely go check it out!
- So we got a new camera for Liam’s playroom but our monitor was starting to die on us so we ended up using the camera for his nursery instead. While it was a little tricky to set up, it is so totally worth it! Tyler and I can both view the camera from our phones and I can also ask Alexa to show us the nursery on our Echo Spot. Now we’re going to get another camera for the playroom and one for outside the front door to use for added security. We’re kind of in love.
- Liam had his first ice cream cone this weekend and absolutely loved it! However, he did not enjoy my assistance with the inevitable drips and the fact he couldn’t figure out the cone. And his shirt? He looked like a Dalmatian he had so many drips all over him. But he loved it so much I can’t wait for him to have another one just to see that look on his face. I’ll just strip him down first.
- Have you heard that The Cheesecake Factory’s “brown bread” will now be available for purchase in stores? That’s almost as good as if they were to sell the delicious Outback bread in stores. Or more importantly, the Texas Roadhouse rolls because those things are seriously to die for.
- I’ve told y’all before how I converted to ordering our groceries online and picking them up usually the next day. Well, this past weekend I had my first bad experience with Walmart Grocery Pickup. Clicklist had already let me down twice so we broke up with them and tried out Walmart and it was wonderful! Until now. They basically left out an entire bag or two of my order, picked the grossest pack of raspberries they could find and gave me fat-free milk instead of whole milk. I ended up just throwing the raspberries out because they were so gross and I got a refund email shortly after I called the store to let them know items were missing from my order but still. Come on y’all! I guess I’ll be back in the grocery store soon. Womp womp.
- Related to the above, I’ve wanted to try Instacart but despite having many grocery stores in our area, they only offer groceries from one store. Super annoying. Anyone else have this struggle? What about Shipt? I’m getting super lazy here I know. If I actually go in the store though I end up buying more than I would if I did grocery pick-up. And double that if I’m hungry or have a screaming child with me.
- Can we just talk about how crazy this flu has been? Liam and Tyler both had it and it was terrible for both of them. And the fact that it has killed 30 innocent children’s lives absolutely breaks my heart and makes me so thankful both of my boys are both alright.

I’m so jealous of your warmer weather! We are still suffering in the cold over here in the Midwest. Also, Oreos delivered to my door? Please and thank you! Amazon just keeps winning me over again and again!
