- I wasn’t a teen in the late ’90s but I totally remember all of these. Although, LL Bean pack packs were the backpack of choice around here but I do think I had a JanSport at some point.
- Mark your calendars! I know it’s not even October yet but they have released the Hallmark Christmas Movie lineup and I couldn’t be more excited! If you don’t watch Hallmark Christmas movies you’re seriously missing out. They run pretty much 24/7 and seriously saved me while I was on maternity leave and up in the middle of the night nursing last year. I could always count on something to watch!
- Also, if you can’t get into the Christmas spirit just yet or Halloween is more your thing, they have also released Freeform’s 13 Nights of Halloween movie lineup as well. Hocus Pocus is my absolute favorite (Halloweentown on Disney is a close second!) and I plan to watch almost every one of them!
- Last TV item but, since I’m a child, I just found out there is going to be a Pretty Little Liar’s (PLL) spinoff called The Perfectionists!! Sasha Piertse and Janel Parrish will be assuming their roles as Ali and Mona. While it was inevitable, I was really sad when PLL ended I’m excited to see how this spinoff is compared to the original.
- While I do consider myself to be a bit label conscious, I also love a good deal. Hence why I’m obsessed with Marshalls. But have you noticed that Amazon has stepped up their clothing game? I’ve seen a number of people sharing how they got awesome swimsuits for super cheap and even ran across this article about a dress that looks great on a bunch of different newscasters and is affordable so you bet your britches I’m gonna get myself one! Just another way Amazon is taking over the world!
- So in addition to my wardrobe being 65% from Marshalls, a good part of it is also from Target. Because Target. I saw Laura Godfrey post about this sweater the other day and now I must have it. Plus, it’s only $25 so that’s totally affordable and it looks nice and cozy for chilly fall days! Now I just need Virginia to get with the program so it’s cool enough to wear said sweater. Ugh.
- Has anyone used these Invisibobbles? Ever since I cut my hair a few months ago, I’ve been wearing it wavy the majority of the time. Its great for extending out washing my hair and I feel like I look 100x more put together but sometimes I feel like my hair tie messes them up and I have to touch them up the next day. People say great things about the Invisibobbles and how they don’t leave a crease/bump and reduce tangles in your hair but I feel like this is only something you can wear to bed? Surely it would look strange if I wore it out of the house, right? Like a phone cord in my hair? If I’m crazy though, send me pictures of your hair up in one so I can see what it looks like. Inquiring minds need to know!
- Now that it is officially Fall, it is time to start knocking out those Fall Bucket list items! First up – apple picking! I absolutely love apple picking and cannot wait to take Liam for his first trip. I love starting new traditions. 🙂
- Can someone explain to me why I made my son homemade baby food and he refused to eat it but I made Tyler and I green smoothies and he was all about it? I mean I’ll give him veggies however I can but really?
- And speaking of veggies, we hardly ate any over the weekend so I’m in desperate need of more this week. This salad needs to make its way into my life ASAP because it sounds delicious and is full of kale and my beloved Honeycrisp apples. I’d have to 86 the cinnamon in the dressing though because I think that would wig me out tasting cinnamon on my salad.

That salad sounds amazing! I might try to make the dressing and just omit the cinnamon.
