- My freaking Amazon account got hacked. Do you know how much of a hassle that is? I literally couldn’t log in to anything and all of our credit and debit cards are attached (because Amazon is life) and I was seriously freaking out. So, if your Amazon account ever gets hacked, you basically have to Google the Customer Service number because the Help section of their page requires you to enter your account information (because that makes total sense since your account just got hacked, right?), call Customer Service, and fight with the people to speak with a supervisor because they think it’s acceptable to just file a report and have someone contact you in 24-48 hours and all while some stranger has access to all of your billing and account information. Seriously, I love Amazon and order just about everything from there but this was a seriously disappointing experience. Makes me think twice about having all of my information there. The only saving grace is that the supervisor I was finally put in contact with immediately removed all of the payment information from the account so that no charges could be made and worked to get everything restored but geez Louise! Why do I have to request a supervisor to get you to prevent some wackadoodle from buying 80 packs of Ramen noodles and a pair of new Crocs?! Mind boggling.
- I have to admit, we did the majority of the wedding traditions when we got married but I never knew the history behind some of them! Particularly the bouquet and garter toss. So awkward!
- Despite my earlier experience, has anyone checked out the lower prices at Whole Foods yet now that Amazon has taken over? I love Whole Foods but hate the prices so if they’re legitimately lower I’m all for it! As long as the quality doesn’t change too…And I saw that Prime Members can get a discount soon too? Is this real?
- This banana conundrum made me LOL but it’s so true. I’m seriously picky about how I’ll eat a banana. #8 all the way. Anything over that is going to be baked or thrown in the freezer to use at a later date. How do you eat your bananas?
- I had the pleasure of working with Sandy Swagger Jones last week to take some photos for the blog (photo at the top of this post) and she did a fantastic job! If you are local to Richmond and need some photos taken I highly recommend her!
- Tyler and I are headed to Baltimore for two nights this weekend to celebrate my SIL’s 30th and it will be the first time I have left Liam overnight let alone two nights in a row. While I know we all need to recharge our batteries (both for my sanity and my marriage) and I know he will be in great hands with his grandma, I know I will be chomping at the bit to get home to him come Sunday morning! #anxiousmama
- All of the flooding and devastation in Houston makes me seriously grateful that we life in a non-flood prone area. My heart breaks for everyone there who has lost so much.
- So apparently scientists are just now realizing women have more stamina than men? Ummm duh. Women go through child birth. I don’t know a single man that could endure that pain for 5 minutes let alone for 24+ hours in some cases. Get with the program, science!
- I would really like to enjoy one of these (with booze) Iced Peach Colada’s before summer is over…which to me is this weekend so I guess I better get on it!
- Recently I’ve been in a bit of a breakfast rut (scrambled cheese eggs with Sriracha) and I need to branch back out and get back to more variety. Thinking I’ll be meal prepping some two ingredient pancakes over the weekend! What are your breakfast favorites?
