- We had a fantastic vacation last week at the Outer Banks of North Carolina despite some serious rain the entire week. We were fortunate enough to get a few breaks from the rain to get out and about and get some (brief) beach time. Seriously, the OBX is my favorite place in the world. Already looking forward to our next trip there!
- Since we overindulged while on vacation both with food and drink, Tyler and I are trying to let our bodies detox. Why can’t eating sausage egg and cheese biscuits every morning and conch fritters and fish tacos for dinner not make you skinny?
- Now that our beach trip is over, I’m already transitioning into full on Fall mode. Not that I want to wish away the Summer by any means because I love the weather we’ve been having recently but am I the only one that gets this way at the end of August? I may or may not have already checked for Pumpkin Spice Oreos at Target…they’re not out yet just so you know.
- Since I’m ready for Fall, I’m thinking about my fall wardrobe and this jacket needs to make it’s way into my life.
- How amazing do these Greek Power Bowls look? I love burrito bowls so I’m not sure why I never thought to do it with Mediterranean flavors. Totally adding them to our menu next week.
- This article on The Silent Marriage Killer is a fantastic read and really resonated with me. Tyler and I definitely struggle with our expectations at times so this helps put marriage into better perspective. Hopefully it will help me pause and take a step back before getting super frustrated.
- I know as American’s other countries find us rather obnoxious but this is a little hilarious. The biggest thing I missed when I got home from Europe was ice in my drink. Guess I’m a quintessential American.
- I’m in full-blown birthday party planning mode and can’t help but get emotional thinking about my baby being a year old. I sense a lot of tears over the next month.
- Is it too soon to start burning fall candles? Because I may or may not have already broken out my favorite Hazelnut Cream scent from Walmart…
- As I mentioned in my Diaper Bag Essential’s post, we switched over to a backpack to use as a diaper bag. Well, while we were on vacation one of the zipper’s broke! I literally played around with it for a good 5 minutes trying to get it back on track and no dice. Seriously upset about that.
So glad you had a fun vacation! Haha, girl burn that hazelnut candle, I brought my fall candles out this weekend 😂😂 I definitely hop on fall mode in the middle of August too! I love that jacket!!!
