Happy on Hand

Now that the unofficial start to Summer is behind us, we are officially in full blown Summer mode around here! And I don’t know about where you are, but it has been HOT here in Virginia lately. We’re talking 100 degrees already and it’s not even technically Summer yet!

With the crazy hot temperatures we’ve been having, we’ve been looking for extra ways to cool down. I hit up my local Target and picked up a few of our favorite frozen desserts so we can always have Happy on Hand when the mood strikes!

One of my all-time favorite ice cream treats is a Nestlé® Drumsticks®. It just reminds me of being a kid and getting ice cream from the pool snack bar or the ice cream man. And who can resist that chocolate dipped cone? So freaking good!

Once the kids are in bed (and preferably Tyler so I don’t have to share), my personal indulgence is the new Bourbon Praline Pecan flavor from Häagen-Dazs®. If you’re not a Bourbon drinker, neither am I and this stuff is seriously good without having an overt Bourbon taste.

My new go-to girls night cocktail are these Strawberries and Prosecco Coolers made with Outshine® bars. They are perfect for winding down and relaxing!

How did I make them you might ask? It’s literally the easiest thing ever! I took two of the Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bars and blended them with half of a bottle of prosecco and voila! If you were making this for a crowd, I’d use 4 bars and the full bottle of prosecco and blend away! To make them more of a frozen drink, add in some ice before blending. Even Tyler couldn’t resist these!

Of course, the Outshine® bars are delicious on their own and are only 60 calories! Given that it’s bathing suit season and everyone is working on their summer bodies, it’s nice to be able to have a sweet snack that won’t derail your hard work!
