Father’s Day is just around the corner so I’ve put together a few gift ideas for the Dad(s) in your life! Don’t worry, it’s not until Sunday so you still have plenty of time to snag a gift! Special thanks to Tyler for helping inspire a few of these ideas!
1. Plan an outing for one of their favorite activities
Whatever the man in your life’s interests, I’m sure he would love for you to plan an outing for him and his buddies doing something they all love. Whether it be golfing, a concert, a sporting event or hitting up the gun range, he is sure to love the thought behind a surprise planned activity. Surely, he deserves it! I’m sure he and his friends would also love you being their DD as well. 🙂
2. Bourbon of the Month Club
Tyler is a huge fan of bourbon and loves trying out new brands. I usually get him a new bottle I find every year for Valentine’s Day but this a nice way to get those one of a kind bottles delivered right to your door! This is a 3-month delivery service and not a full year so not a huge commitment either.
3. Engraved Pocket Knife
I somehow did my entire Mother’s Day Gift Guide without including something monogrammed but here we go. A few years ago I bought Tyler a nice, engraved pocket knife as a gift and it’s his “special occasion” pocket knife. The specific one I got him isn’t available anymore but we gave this wooden handle knife as groomsmen gifts for our wedding and they were sturdy and very well crafted. And of course, they have an option to add a monogram to personalize the item.
(Don’t forget to use Ebates so you can get cash back on your purchase!)
4. Car Wash and Detailing
It’s no secret that having a kid kind of destroys your car. Why not give your guy a gift card to get their car cleaned and detailed as a special treat? Or even better, schedule a mobile detailing company to come to your house or his work while you’re out and surprise him with a sparkling, clean car. If you’re local, we love Carpool.
5. Yeti cooler or tumbler
Yeti’s are all the rage right now but Tyler has been majorly pining over a Tundra 35 for years now. They are a big ticket item but if the guy in your life is big into hunting or fishing and don’t already have a Yeti cooler, I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty you would be getting some major wife or daughter brownie points! If the cooler is a little too pricey, the tumblers are fantastic. Tyler and I each have one and use them all the time. Great investment.

Number one is always a big hit in our house, but this year I think we’ll be going with the toy of the month. My hubbie loves gadgets and electronics and I can usually find something interesting for him these days for a good price. Last year he wanted a smartwatch, I think this year it might be a voice control thingie for the house. Boys and their toys.

I totally hear ya, Amy! We have an Alexa and my husband has an Apple Watch so those items are already crossed off his list. Lol
