Hello hello! It has been quite a while since my last post but I am back and better than ever in 2020! I’ve been loving quite a few drugstore beauty products lately and wanted to round them up for you.
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Correct Color Correcting Concealer
This stuff is GOOD. It’s a dupe for Shape Tape which has a cult following and, honestly, I’ve never been super impressed with. This, however, goes on smoothly, covers incredibly well and isn’t drying like the name brand. And for a fraction of the price, save your money y’all!
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
A cult favorite for a reason, Butter Bronzer smells like heaven (aka the beach) and is a moderately dark bronzer that is great for just about all skin tones.
Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade
I feel like I have used a ton of brow products between Brow Wiz, to ka-BROW, to this NYX pencil (which is an amazing Brow Wiz dupe!). But this brow pomade FINALLY gives me a brow that a) won’t smudge and b) has a great shape. This will definitely be a repeat product for me!
Makeup Revolution Baking Powder
Along with brow products, I’ve tried a million setting powders. The Ben Nye Banana Baking Powder was made famous by Kim Kardashian. Regardless of how you feel about her, her makeup always looks flawless so clearly that stuff started flying off the shelves. And while I haven’t tried the brand name version, comparing this stuff to other setting powders I’ve tried, this is amazing and lasts forever!
L’oreal Double Extend Mascara
Y’all know I LOVE lashes. I am a reformed strip lash addict. Then I did lash extensions (peep those before and afters!) but they were pricey to keep up with. Now that my lashes are back to where they were pre-strip lashes, I have been experimenting with different mascaras and this one is by far my favorite! It’s a primer and mascara in one and comes off with just warm water when I take my makeup off at night with one of these remover towels. Definitely a winner if you haven’t tried it yet!
TULA Face Filter Blurring and Moisturizing Primer
Ok so this one isn’t “drugstore” but it’s great and affordable! I’ve been using this for a little over a month and absolutely love it! If you follow my stories, you may have seen that I feel the formula of this primer doesn’t work so well with the Double Wear foundation but is great with my IT Cosmetics CC Cream. My only thought is that the combination of the Double Wear and this primer seems to make me super oily. And now that I know that, on days when I want more full coverage I just use a different primer. I will absolutely repurchase. Don’t forget, you can also get 15% off with code BLESSEDMESS.
